How to effectively increase the oil yield of rapeseed oil press

    Canola oil has a certain effect of softening blood vessels and prolonging life; it can play a very important role in human brain development; and canola oil contains almost no cholesterol, so people who are worried about cholesterol can use it with confidence. The oil output rate of the rapeseed oil press is related to many factors such as the oil content of the raw material, the process method and the operation mode. Masters who have used rapeseed oil presses know that the main factors affecting the oil yield are as follows:

1.The first is the operator

The main reasons are unskilled technology, low operating skills carelessness and poor quality awareness during operation; poor cooperation among personnel.

Followed by machinery and equipment

Although the new machine has passed the quality inspection, it may be damaged after storage .In particular, improper installation and adjustment, poor assembly quality, and incorrect use and maintenance in accordance with safety operating procedures will make the machine ineffective. Frequent troubleshooting and accident repairs caused by human causes directly affect oil quality and production capacity. To start the new machine, the press chamber must be derusted, run-in, and trial pressed, and try to increase the temperature of the press chamber before entering the press to keep the feed---the cake out smoothly.

2.There is the oil feed

The silt will be sifted out during the processing process and the silt will absorb oil and reduce the oil yield of rapeseed. The sediment should be removed before processing. The high impurity content and low quality of the raw materials will directly affect the oil output efficiency and production capacity. Regarding the impurities (organic impurities such as plant stems and leaves, husks, wormwood, hemp rope, cloth pieces, paper scraps and various grains, inorganic impurities such as dust, soil, Sand, stone, tiles, etc.), oily impurities (diseases, pests, improper grains, heterogeneous oilseeds, etc.), and metal impurities (iron nails, screws, etc.) should be cleaned and screened by mechanical equipment, and pretreatment processes should be implemented as required process.

3.The last is the process conditions

Countless facts have proved that although the behavior of rapeseed oil press is well controlled, it is also difficult to produce normal results due to poor or unstable control of the water and temperature of the press. The squeezed water and temperature directly affect the physical properties and chemical process of the embryo.

The results of the theoretical study indicate that the blank should have proper moisture and temperature, that is the blank should have good fluidity, and the viscosity and surface tension of the oil should be reduced as much as possible to ensure that the blank has proper plasticity and elasticity to maintain normal pressure . Practical tests also show that the water content of the raw material can not be lower than the cake-forming limit, and the suitable range of the temperature of the raw material is 110~130℃.

If the water content is too high, the material embryo will produce clumps and affect the oil output; on the contrary, when the water content is too low, the material embryo will be squeezed into powder, which is easy to coke and block the cavity. Similarly, if the temperature is too high, the sugars in the embryo will be coked, protein and other components will be destroyed, and the oil will become darker, which will affect the quality of the oil; on the contrary, when the temperature is too low, normal physical changes and biochemical conditions cannot be formed.
