Palm Kernel Pretreatment

In most palm fruit pressing workshops, we can get a mixture of palm kernels and fibers after pressing. We can re-press or sell it to gain extra benefits. However, due to the hardness of palm kernels, we need to doing some process before pressing.

1. Fiber and kernel separation

Improve the pressing efficiency and avoid the influence of fiber blockage on the pressing process.

2. Drying

Remove the moisture brought out by the pressing of palm fruits, avoid the adhesion of shells and kernels, and reduce the influence of moisture content on the quality of the final product. we can also choose to sell the dried palm kernels as by-products directly.

3.Shelling&kernel separation

Get separate palm kernels, which is beneficial to the subsequent pressing efficiency and avoids the wear of the pressing equipment by shell.

4. Crushing

Divide the palm kernel into small,pieces, increase the surface area of the palm kernel, improve the efficiency of palm kernel oil pressing, and extract more palm kernel oil.

5. Cooking

Adjust the temperature, humidity and internal structure of the palm kernel to make it reach a good state before pressing.
