Precautions for using oil press in winter

When we consider the oil yield of the press, we often ignore the influence of the working environment on the oil yield. Especially in winter when the weather is cold and dry, in areas where the average temperature is below 0 ℃. When starting the press, we should pay special attention to the operation process of the press. Let's take a look at the precautions for the operation of the oil press in winter.

Before using the machine in winter, we should try our best to keep the room temperature of the oil press room at 15℃-20℃. Then prepare all auxiliary equipment and containers, check and adjust the tension of the drive belt before the pressing work begins. Then start the motor again, let the machine run idly for a while, and check whether the speed of the screw shaft is appropriate. When idling, pay attention to the meshing of the gears in the gearbox and whether the sound is normal, and whether the bearing parts and the motor are normal. When the oil press is idling, also check the motor current. If the current is too high, it should be stopped immediately for inspection, and then turned on after adjustment. The machine should be idling for a while, so that the temperature of the oil press rises to 90℃, and then we can feed a small amount of oil cake evenly and slowly, and then observe whether the cake is smooth. Then slowly increase the feeding amount to prevent uneven feeding, which will cause the machine load to suddenly rise and blockage.

If the temperature is too low when using the oil press in winter, it will affect the oil yield and oil quality, so the temperature of our oil press room should be kept at a suitable range, and the moisture content of the oil before pressing should be moderate, the best moisture content is as follows: peanut 8%-11%, soybean 5%-8%, cottonseed 4%-6%, rapeseed 6%-8% and so on. If the raw material moisture is low and dry, the machine temperature is required to be higher, and vice versa.
