The pressing process of tea seed oil press
Tea seeds are oils with high oil content. The most common method of oil extraction is one-time pressing or two cold pressing processes. If the pre-expression extraction process is adopted, low moisture and low temperature treatment are required, otherwise the agglomerated camellia seed cake has poor leaching permeability. The most reasonable method is to extract oil and saponin at the same time. The Tea seed cake after extracting saponin can be made into feed and sold to farms.
The specific process is briefly described as follows:
(1) One-time hot pressing method of camellia oil press

The screw oil press squeezes the Tea seeds once, which can basically reach less than 8% of the residual oil on the dry basis, but the steaming and frying process is strict, for example, the water content must be less than 2% to prevent the saponin from absorbing water and forming hard lumps. At the same time, it requires short pressing time, high pressing chamber pressure and high oil output speed, and the oil output slit is appropriately enlarged.
(2) Two-time cold pressing method of Tea seeds oil press
Generally, the first pressing requires a special cold press, such as Best 100 cold press or Best double screw oil press, for short time pressing at room temperature and rapid oil output, so that the residual oil in the cake can reach 12%-16 %, and then perform conventional steaming and frying and secondary pressing.
