Moringa Seed Oil Production Process
Oil Production Process
raw material → hulling → impurity removal → drying → crushing →softening pressed embryo → pressing →crude oil → precipitation → filtering → (refining→) refined oil
Because Moringa seeds have a hard shell on the outside, we need to peel the shells first when pressing. The process of making Moringa seed oil is to clean the Moringa seeds first, then use a sheller to remove the shells, then use a screw press to press, and then use an oil filter to filter to obtain pure physical pressing oil. We know that there are two pressing methods, cold pressing and hot pressing. The cold pressing process is required to produce Moringa seed oil. The cold pressed Moringa seed oil contains antioxidant substances, which make the Moringa seed oil stable in nature. Not easy to corrupt characteristics. We don't often use subcritical extraction method to prepare Moringa seed oil, because it does not have high nutritional value as Moringa seed oil obtained by pure physical pressing method, and the preparation process is also very complicated.
The Moringa seed oil produced by the oil press is a kind of nutritious edible oil, which contains the same nutrients as corn germ oil, peanut oil and olive oil. Since the Moringa seed oil produced only by oil press equipment has a darker color and contains more impurities, refining treatment is required to obtain Moringa seed oil with high nutrition. Moringa seed oil is generally used in the cosmetic industry, and can also be used for the lubrication of precision machinery under specific conditions. We can choose according to different usage methods of Moringa seed oil to meet our own needs.

Advantage:
1. It is beneficial to the separation of Moringa seed oil and oil, and the oil yield of Moringa seed is higher.
2. The process of pressing oil by oil press is easy to operate, low in cost and good in oil quality.
3. There are cold pressing and hot pressing in the oil pressing method. It is recommended that users use the cold pressing method of the oil press to extract Moringa seed oil, because compared with the hot-pressing method, the nutritional components of the Moringa seed oil extracted by the cold pressing method and the chemical substances of the oil itself can be more completely retained, and the oil is more aromatic.

Disadvantages:
1. Relatively speaking, Moringa seed oil has a high viscosity. If the water content of the raw material itself is too high during the pressing process, the phospholipids in the oil are more likely to combine with water and affect the quality of the oil.
2. The oil cake obtained by the oil press method has a high residual oil rate. If large-scale production is carried out, it is recommended that Moringa seed oil manufacturers carry out secondary treatment on the oil cake, which can effectively improve the oil yield of Moringa seed oil.
