The Difference Between Cold Press And Hot Press

Most of our cooking oil is hot pressed oil, that mean before pressing the raw oil material should be frying the material, in order to improve the oil yield. But the color of the oil from fried material is red, so in this case, refine is a necessary step before eating. The hot pressed oil is full-bodied.

Cold pressed oil come from raw material without pretreatment. So the product of cold press doesn't need refining. Cold pressed oil is light. Most of materials, like sesame, peanut, aren’t suitable for cold pressing, because the fragrance of sesame oil and peanut oil needs to be obtained through hot pressing process.DSC02359
