Corn Oil Processing
Corn oil is a nutritious and healthful oil made from corn kernels. It is rich in nutrients such as vitamin E and unsaturated fatty acids. Now let's introduce the production process of corn oil:
1. Raw Material Selection and Preparation: First, select fresh corn kernels and remove the husks and impurities. Then, clean and sort the corn kernels to ensure the stability and purity of the raw materials.
2. Hot Pressing: Put the processed corn kernels into a preheated oil press and raise the temperature to around 100 degrees Celsius. This helps to steam the corn kernels and improves the oil pressing effect, resulting in a higher oil yield. During pressing, it is important to maintain a certain density of the materials and pre-screen the filtering screens to ensure the purity and production efficiency of the oil.
3. Oil Filtration: The pressed corn oil contains impurities and proteins, and it needs to go through sedimentation to allow insoluble impurities to settle at the bottom of the oil. Then, filtration and other procedures are performed to obtain pure corn oil. Our factory's plate and frame filter machine is simple to operate, robust, and durable.
4. Deodorization and Dehydration: To remove odors and moisture from the oil, corn oil undergoes deodorization and dehydration processes. Deodorization is mainly achieved by heating and distillation to remove odor components from the oil. Dehydration involves distillation and drying methods to remove moisture from the oil under anaerobic and water-free conditions, thereby improving its shelf life and stability.
