Screw Conveyor Blade Repair

First, the surface treatment

1. Rinse the blades with high pressure water.

2. For the serious wear of the equipment, repair the welding rod with the same material or close to the equipment substrate.

3. Degreasing and dehumidification treatment: adjust the flame to 10CM length with oxygen acetylene, and repeatedly flame the workpiece surface at a speed of 5cm/min to remove the grease and moisture on the surface of the workpiece;

4. Sand blasting: Remove the oxide layer on the surface of the workpiece and visually inspect it. The blasted surface shows a uniform metallic color. The blasted workpieces are not allowed to be directly in contact with the blasting surface with greased gloves. After blasting, the workpiece should be protected from moisture. Cover the part that does not need to be treated.


Second, the selection of wear-resistant anti-corrosion materials:

XK-C-30 wear-resistant material: two-component, metal-carbide-resistant composite material, wear resistance is 1-3 times that of medium carbon steel, high compressive strength and good impact resistance. It is used for the repair of large-scale over-flow components below 3mm and large-area prospects. Such as flotation tanks, mixing tanks, blades, etc.


Third, sizing:

1. Preheat the equipment that has been sandblasted, then mix and mix the components A and B of special repair materials of XK-C-30 equipment in a ratio of 38:1 (weight), and mix them with a batch of knife or plastic scraper. The repairing material is applied to the worn part of the blade, applied in one direction, and compacted while being applied; the thickness is uniform. Use a squeegee to repair the surface of the material of the coating;

2. Warming and curing: The finished workpiece is allowed to stand for 30 minutes for heating and curing, and heated at 100 °C for 1 hour.
