Processes of the oil press to make camellia oil/tea seed oil

Camellia oil is more precious because of its high nutritional value, so the fine process used is low-temperature pressing. The specific oil making process is as follows.

1. The plucked tea fruits are started to dry, and then the peeling process is carried out to obtain the tea seeds inside the tea fruits.

2. The tea seeds are dried and then entered into the cleaning and debinding equipment to obtain clean and full tea seeds.

3. Shelling of tea seeds to obtain tea seed kernels, followed by crushing, low temperature steaming and frying, during the steaming process

Add water appropriately to ensure that the moisture content of the tea seeds is kept at about 9%.

4. Use hydraulic oil press (or screw oil press) to press the tea seeds at low temperature, because the pressing temperature is not higher than 70 degrees Celsius, so the nutrients in the tea oil will not be destroyed by high temperature.

5. The pressed camellia oil also contains gums, pigments and other substances, so it also needs physical refining and cold filtering treatment, so that the final processed tea seed oil is the first grade tea oil.
