The castor oil produced contains more than 80% of ricinoleic acid, and also contains a small amount of oleic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid and other fatty acids.

But many people say that castor oil can't be used as edible oil, is this true, and why is it?

1.Ricin in castor oil is a strong neurotoxin, which is a toxin that damages the protoplasm of cells. Ricin can destroy liver cells, kidney cells and cause damage to these solid organs, causing us to produce nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, coma and other poisoning symptoms.
