The use of oil cake

The oil cake produced in the process of pressing oil is the residue  after the first press. According to the name of the meal produced by different oil is not the same, their use is also different.

For example, peanut meal is the product of oil extracted from peanut after being pressed by an oil press. Peanut meal is also very rich in vegetable protein, so it can be used as chicken and duck feed. In addition, peanut meal can be used to develop low peptide food, is a good source of protein to improve dietary structure. It can be used for special groups such as athletes, infants and the elderly whose protein needs cannot be adequately met through ordinary diet.

Rapeseed cake is the residue of rapeseed after oil press. Rapeseed residue is high in protein and minerals and can be used as protein feed for livestock. However, it should be noted that glucosinolate in rapeseed cake may cause goiter and metabolic disorder after domestic animals eat it. Therefore, although rapeseed cake nutritional value is high, but also can not be fed more, generally should not exceed 5% ~ 7% in the feed. In addition to being used as fodder, the shell residue of rapeseed can be used as a substrate for some mushroom species.

After the press, the remaining soybean cake can be used to make tofu, no need to grind, can be directly boiled soybean milk.

The sesame oil residue can be used to make porridge and pasta. Sesame residue can also be used to beat soybean milk, can be directly with beans into soybean milk machine processing soybean milk and so on.

But it should be noted that if the oil cake is pressed by the hydraulic press, it can not be pressed twice because of the low oil content. If it is a large number of oil cake can be into the way of leaching out of the oil contained. This method is usually only suitable for the use of large-scale oil plants.
